My thoughts are like a butterfly.
My imagination can fly like a butterfly. It can fly low towards the colorful flowers and high towards the bright blue sky.
My feelings are free like a butterfly. On a sunny day, I can laugh with laughter. On a rainy day, I can cry with humbling tears.
I am free like a butterfly. Life is beautiful as I. My dreams and goals are before my eyes, reachable, as long as I try everyday and through out the years.
Flying high towards the sky, while stretching my wings towards my dreams and drifting away from my fears, I am just like a butterfly, my dear....

In the struggles of Alcohol and Drug addictions we may find ourselves fighting the battles alone, I want you to
know that you are not alone. For there are millions of sober Alcoholics and Addicts in this world who had
struggled and found help with their addictions and found a better way to live and a Power greater than self,
which led them to a great and prosper path into recovery. We pray for those who are still fighting their
battles, and every Alcoholic and Addict who is still suffering, and those who had found happiness. For there
is no cure for this terrible disease, but there is a God greater than self who loves you unconditionally,
so may you find that Power Greater than self, if it is in your heart to desire to do so.
A new Poem Titled, "BEHIND THE VEIL," by Sheryl. Click here.

Once upon a time in a beautiful country there were two neighbors who lived several acres away from each other and
owned their own beautiful home's in comparisons. They even both bought and planted the same unique flowering trees.
These beautiful trees blossom flowers with rainbow colors all spring and during the summer hot days. The two
neighbors and even Their neighbors were very happily pleased with the flowering trees, and they took the time and care
to nourish these trees with plenty of water and fertilizer. And later that year, a fierce winter came a long and everything
became frozen. But as nature soon passed over with the bright sun and warmth, it slowly brought spring back on its
course and sadly the two neighbor's trees did not bud.
One neighbor continued to water and fertilize his tree with human care and loving prayers. The other neighbor felt
robbed, cheated, and betrayed. He did not water his tree or fertilize it and nor did he pray for it. He was angry that he
did not have a warranty on his tree. "Why?" He asked with anger. "Why do you not bud? Why did you do this to me?
You once was beautiful and now your are sick. You are no longer of good to me. I don't understand. Last year you
blossom beautiful flowers and now you show me your sicken sticks."
The angry neighbor's friends and family would come over to his house making fun of the dead tree and made
statements as, "Cut it down. It is no good. Take it back for it's a defect. It is the ugliest thing we have ever seen. "
The angry neighbor heard enough. He walked into his garage and came back and cut down the tree and threw it into the
fire pit and watched it burn as he shouted, "Burn! Burn in hell!"
The rest of the year the angry neighbor watched his neighbor continue to water, fertilize, kneel, and pray for his sicken
tree to become alive and bud. He laughed, "he's an idiot. He is out there watering and praying for a dead tree. "
The next year came along with a new beautiful spring. The neighbor who did not give up on his sicken tree and choose
to pray for it had awaken from a deep nightly sleep. He looked out of his window and shouted out with happiness and
glory, "Thank you God for touching this beautiful tree. For it was once dead but you have touched it and gave it life.
Look at those beautiful coloring flowers glow to the heavens. Our tree is a live. Thank you, God. It is the most beautiful
tree for the world to see." He opened his window and smelled a scent of humbleness, serene, and wisdom.
Thought: Sometimes as human beings we can fall ill and make horrible mistakes and for our fate is in the hands of
those who are servants and those who has faith in God. There will be some love ones who will resentfully give up on
you and there will be some who will pray for you and nourish you with love and compassion. God can heal all things and
like the tree you will become alive with joy, a new beginning with happiness, and a glow of humbleness. For those who
are lost and walk in the dead but spiritually found and separated from your love ones due to your illness, addictions, or
terrible mistakes, God will provide you with his love, touch, nourishment, and he shall guide you and your family into the
heavens... For you shall not be alone and this site he shall give you to see.

Thee Sober Memorial Prayer by Arnold Williams
Dedicated To those whom lost their life to addictions. May you rest in peace and bless your sober day:
Through the life of Spiritual Battles
Spiritual Souls of a sober journey riding upon thee holy saddles
The war of soberness somberly rattles
To free upon ones own addictive pain of slavery
In the trade of addictions caved in as living cattle
Be of calm my soberly friends
For the King of Lamb has calling
For the King
thee has giving us his Son
Through he has forgiving our sins
to Battle the life of distorted fictions
True it be thee to be sober
the words of the bible
thee must be faithfully liable
For the death of thee old
Rides behind thee new
Holy to the Son of the King thee gateway nobler
Thee waken
Thee Battle has begun
The Spiritual flag thy humbly carry and ride in faith
led upon thy angels heavenly giving pace
God, lead us upon victory
For thee lost friends whom rest in peace
whom lost their giving life to this terrible addictive disease
For their death of disarray
Led them thee other way
For their flesh betrayed
dispersed in the darken shadows
For they not no thee sober way
and yet their flesh upon death
lost its given way.
For yes I ride as a Spiritual Knight
in honor of their lost souls and thee life of thy old
For the light thy surly and gratefully see
Thy know thee darkness is behind thee
For thy pull no cockiness
triggers of thy eyes
For thee Spiritually & Humbly cry
The darkness of sinful death continues to bleed
Death to thee our addictions
We shall Spiritually fight
for thy comrades
whom rest in peace
God, for your victory for just today, bless our life of Sobriety...
Surly this must be your way.

So what is Spiritual Knights? Well, Spiritual Knights came from a vision when I went to church one Sunday morning and
heard a pastor say "In order to defeat the devil you must be spiritually prepared to do battle." Well, I surly wasn't, but I
wanted to learn on how to. You see, I needed the tools. Being an alcoholic and an addict, and a member of Alcoholics
Anonymous, I truly found the 12 step, having had a Spiritual Awaking. However, it took years of falling down and getting
back up for my spirituality to grow and to develop to what it is for me today. The fact that I turned my will to the care of God of
my understanding 16 years ago gave me over 16 years of being abstinence from alcohol and drugs, surly I know this had to
be a Power Greater Than Self because I tried so many ways to quit on my own and it just didn't work. But what did? Treatment,
AA, CA, the Big Book, the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, fellowshipping, and now praying to Higher Power who gives
me more than just being sober. By focusing on the Spiritual Awakening gives me the daily moment to Spiritually connect and
have an intimate relationship with my Higher Power, a place to give thanks and a place to say, "I am sorry." This is how
Spiritual Knights became what it is today.
Again, the l inks you will find here are either from our Sponsors, Ours, and Others who made this site for what it is. This
includes the Recovery Interviews and The Recovery Poetry from those who share their stories and success and to those who
shares it through their writings. This is a place to share, to give back, a place to connect to the first part of step 12 "Having
had a Spiritual Awakening," from the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, a place not to judge or be judged, a site of
winners and miracles, the fact that some of us are still alive is a miracle.
So, if you are just visiting, or if your seeking help, or if you are in recovery, and or if you are a family member of someone
who is fighting addictions, or if you just wanted to see what's going on here, again we welcome you here and please come
back to visit and surly help us build the bridge so we may continue to grow spiritually and nourish our lives with the most
important tool in recovery.
Again we thank you, we welcome you, and please enjoy your stay!!

How To Find The Right Drug and Alcohol Rehab Center
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Jon_Arnold]Jon Arnold
When you, a family member or loved one is battling against the demons associated with drug and/or alcohol abuse,
rehabilitation is needed to get back on a healthy track. Turning to the healing properties of a drug rehab or alcohol rehab
center can bring about the lifestyle and behavioral changes associated with leaving negative influences to the wayside.
There are numerous drug and alcohol rehab centers across the United States. Sometimes, a patient may even choose
treatment outside of the country. Rehabilitation is a very emotional and a mental roller coaster that takes every ounce of
restraint and focus. It is the responsibility of alcohol and drug rehab centers to find the medium and motivation for each
patient to embrace recovery. Each and every individual that walks through the door of a clinic or enters a program is
unique.
Different Clinic and Program Approaches
Since no two patients are alike, drug and alcohol rehab programs and procedures differ. While some rely heavily on
prescription drugs and other medical techniques, there are other methods of treatment that utilize holistic or natural
approaches. When evaluating a potential drug or alcohol rehab center, there are several different types of treatment
programs to consider. Substance abuse is a delicate issue and each drug of choice is dealt with in a different manner. For
instance, sleeping pill addiction will not be treated in the same way as crystal meth addiction.
One of the main decisions regarding the type of alcohol or drug rehab center to consider is the length of necessary
treatment. With short-term rehab clinics, a patient may become a resident and undergo various medical approaches for
several weeks. They may also receive drug-free outpatient services. When longer-term care is needed, several outpatient
treatments are available as well. A patient may also choose to live in a residential community treatment center to ensure
continue drug-free success. Some residents may choose or need to spend years at these types of facilities.
The issue of medication and other drug treatment options come into play when choosing a drug rehab clinic, as seen
through what is called maintenance treatment. For example, a heroin addict may receive an oral dose of methadone to
help block the effects of their abused drug of choice. The methadone helps to eliminate the cravings that many addicts
encounter through physiological demands on their body. Some people are leery of methadone treatments because this
drug in itself can be addicting.
When it comes time to locate the best drug rehab and alcohol rehab centers within your grasp, doctors and other health
professionals will give you what is called a referral. You may receive one or two to choose from, but they are usually the
most viable options of treatment for you to consider. When budget is of no concern, some people will look into treatment
options both near and wide. Some drug and alcohol rehab centers are more private than others, offering certain luxuries
that state officials cannot afford. There are numerous brochures and websites to scan when you are able to pay more for
your treatment options.
What to Expect With Treatment
Very rarely do you see drug rehabilitation without some sort of approach towards psychological repair. Even though drugs
can be purged from the physical parts of the patient, it is the mental barriers and breakdowns that continue the vicious
cycle of drug abuse. Most drug rehab and alcohol rehab programs will treat the mind, body and soul of a patient. This is
the best approach towards increasing the success rate for when patients are released onto the world.
It is also much healthier for the patient to receive well-rounded treatment so that they may achieve stronger, more positive
outcomes. It is the goal of rehab centers to make sure patients equip themselves with the tools and strength needed to
resist temptation and face the threat of relapse.
While at a drug or alcohol rehab center, you will encounter a trained professional who knows the ins and outs of drug
addictions. Physicians and therapists become important fixtures on the road to recovery. They will ask you many different
questions and may even perform a series of medical tests. This will assist in the accurate assessment of your personal
characteristics. It will aid in deciding on the appropriate drug rehabilitation program that you will benefit the most from. You
could face inpatient, outpatient, residential, and/or short-stay treatment.
Helping Rehabilitated Patients Succeed
It is the responsibility of the newly rehabilitated patient to take control over the things that affect their life. Surrounding
themselves with positive influences and adhering to outpatient counseling and programs is a must. Family and friends
should be supportive and aware that the potential of relapse is never too far behind. A circle of support and
encouragement is crucial to long term success.
For a newly released drug or alcohol rehab patient, one day at a time never made more since than now. Each morning
should be greeted with individual care and concern. They may need a lot of help to continue their success. Love,
understanding, and support is all friends and family can give; the rest is up to the rehabbed individual.
